May 2020 - National Geographic Book Feature

April 2013 - Bunny Mad Magazine Feature

The Spring/Summer edition of 'Bunny Mad Magazine' (a quarterly magazine devoted to rabbits), included a full page feature about Shpangle Jewellery. The feature titled 'Capture Your Memories' was part of a special feature about copying with pet loss. The magazine feature written by Mick included information about how he started his keepsake jewellery business and the products available for preserving pet hair and ashes.

January 2012 - Emma Forbes Lifestyle Feature

A great start to the New Year for Shpangle Jewellery as our hair keepsake jewellery was featured in TV and radio presenter Emma Forbes lifestyle site forbesstyle.com. The feature 'Pimp your pregnancy ... and baby bling' showcased an array of 'pregnancy art' available including our keepsake jewellery.

September 2011 - Acorn Centre Charity Auction

In September 2011 Shpangle Jewellery offered a name on rice pendant for a local charity auction in aid of the Acorn Centre in Nuneaton. The Acorn Centre is a small local charity that offers a specialist pregnancy counselling service for women and men for issues relating to miscarriage and fertility problems.

The donation of our jewellery resulted in Shpangle Jewellery being mentioned in several local newspapers including the Nuneaton News and Nuneaton Tribune, and of course the Auction booklet itself.

9th May 2011 Radio 4 Interview - Gone Today Hair Tomorrow

My radio interview was broadcast on 9th May 2011 for the Radio 4 documentary 'Gone Today Hair Tomorrow'. The program looked at how for centuries, locks of hair have been used as a symbol of remembrance, and my interview was mainly describing our hair keepsake jewellery and in particular our pet hair and fur keepsake jewellery.

29th March 2011 Daily Mail Newspaper Feature

Our hair keepsake jewellery was featured on 29th March 2011 in a Daily Mail newspaper article titled - The art of pregnancy: The weird and wonderful ways modern mothers are celebrating having a baby.

November 2010 - Canon Website Macro Lens Tutorial Film

November 2010 saw our name on rice jewellery appear in a short film. The movie was a tutorial for the Canon macro lens that is to appear on the Canon website. Our rice writing was featured at the end of the movie with the words 'The End' written onto a single grain of rice.

April 2010 - Made in Leicestershire Printed Directory

In April 2010 Shpangle Jewellery was selected amongst fifty other artists around Leicestershire to appear in the Made in Leicestershire printed directory for 2010. This was a great achievement as the directory showcased original artists and crafters from around the area.

April 2010 - Alt Fashion Magazine Feature

April 2010 saw Shpangle Jewellery featured in an article within the Alt Fashion Magazine. The UK fashion magazine focuses on alternative fashion and culture and our jelly tot sweet cufflinks were featured within their Something New & Something Blue wedding themed product spread.
